Remember Scrappers that you need to take the time to scrap yourselves. Many times we are always doing that scrapping and taking the pictures but we are never in any of it! So make sure you are in those pictures so you can scrap them. Have a great day everyone!

Hello all! Today I am going to share with you a special layout of my niece Rebekah who sadly died at the age of 4.

This is why I find scrap booking so important, that is to remember those whom we have lost and to leave a little bit of them for those who are family, yet never knew them.

Please take the time to take pictures of your loved ones for you never know what may happen. One minute Rebekah was playing with friends and family and just a few hours later she died from a rare strain of Ecoli. So please take the time to take those pictures because you just never know.

So give hugs and kisses to your loved ones and remember to treasure them always!

One thing I did on this layout is I didn't have a stamp or stickers that would fit for the title so I just used my own handwriting which I think makes this layout just that more personal. Enjoy!

Hi, how are you? Well so far so good for me! My garden is looking great and company will be here soon but I didn't want you to miss out on another layout idea so today, I am sharing with you a layout I did using one of my new favourite pictures of my Granddaughter. This album is for my stepsister who will be getting married at the end of August. This is a 12x12 album. Most of the product used is from Close to My Heart and some other stuff like the rub ons are from TLC which is now Breezy Design I think. Wedding #1!

Hello everyone! Long time no hear!! I hope everyone is having a warm and safe summer. I have been really busy in the garden and visiting family that lives about 16 hour drive from our place!

But now we are back and I had two weddings to go to, however because of other obligations we will not be able to attend either one, however I got busy creating albums for both wedding party's.

Today I will be showing you a 9x9 accordion album with matching card and box that I made for a friend who just got married  a couple of weeks ago.

The product I used is from all sorts of places like the dollar store, Costco, Close to My Heart and so on! The layout idea's came from the Reflection's book from Close to My Heart. So please sit back and enjoy!

Hello!

Hello all! Just a quick note to say that as spring is arriving I have been really busy. As you all are well aware this is the time to get all that yard work done (raking rocks off the front of the lawn and transplanting trees) and start planting the veggie garden seeds inside to get ahead start.

So to say the least I have sadly neglected my blog. Have no fear though for soon I will be back with more layout ideas along with other projects. So until then enjoy the fresh spring air and sunshine. I know I am!!

Hi all! The layout I am sharing with you is of all the pets we had at one time, 3 great big FAT cats and one little dog! I like to print my own pictures and for one reason or another the pictures I was printing didn't come out right. So instead of throwing them away I thought why not scrap them. You really don't have to have the best of pictures and I really don't like waste so I created a real grundgy look for my layout using Notebook papers from Close To My Heart. Enjoy!

Title topper swap!

Hello everyone! Today my show and tell is about my very first time hosting a swap. The swap was a title topper swap. We had to create two 3x12 topper one for one page and the other for the other page. We had to have a cardstock base and at least one patterned paper with at least two embellishments. All the toppers were made with Close To My Heart products.

RCMP Musical Ride!

Hi all! Today I wanted to share with you this layout of the RCMP Musical Ride. Our little town of Tumbler Ridge was celebrating its 25th anniversary, so the RCMP came and put on a show for us! My husband and I sponsored the horse Indigo and its rider Constable David Beaudoin. If you ever get the chance to see the RCMP Musical Ride GO for it is a great show to see!

Hello all! Today I thought I would share with you one of my favourite layout ideas from Close To My Heart. This layout is out of one of their Idea Books. In this layout I did my very first sewing with my machine, I actually quilted with batting and all the top pink paper! It was a lot of fun.

ATC!

Hello all! I am very excited to share with you my very first ATC (artist trading card). Close To My Heart puts on contest for their consultants. This particular contest challenge was to use embossing powder. So I came up with this little idea and I came in second place!! I was very surprised to place so high but it sure was a great feeling!
